"The country guitar - essential to mordern country music"
First of all, I would like to apologise. This section is for those who know the basics of country guitar. If you don't know how to play guitar, just type "how to play guitar" in google. You should have a world of resources!
For those recently learning the guitar, here are a few basic tips: 1)It is not easy. No matter what "30 day magic-guitar-learning-course-thingy" you can find, they probably won't work. Learning the guitar takes dedication, hard work, and a willingness to pick yourself back up after a bad experience relating to the guitar. 2)Lead is not harder than Rhythm This is an age-old question. Generally, rhythm players are in the background, providing the spine of the song. They need to have an incredible sense of timing. And for those who believe that rhythm is easier than lead, I can show you some strumming patterns that'll eat your "killer solo" for lunch! 3)Don't skimp on the exercises. Practice your scales, chords and the rest. They WILL help your finger technique. Constantly challenge yourself. Play the scales in a new manner. Skip some strings on the scales. Make a simple Riff. Enjoy. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's start! Excited? You should be!
